Welcome
It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the innovative and dynamic learning community of Bannister Creek Primary School. A warm, caring and friendly school with exceptional facilities, set in a beautiful natural environment. We celebrate our vibrant and diverse families with strong community relationships, strengthened through an active and progressive School Board, a highly motivated and effective Parents and Citizens Association and Baldja Waangkiny, our autonomous Aboriginal parent group.
Our school is dedicated to developing balanced students who strive for excellence while building global and sustainable perspectives. The school vision 'happy students, lifelong learners and active citizens' is achieved through a highly skilled and committed staff, a vested executive team and authentic community connection.
As an Independent Public School, Bannister Creek has the autonomy and flexibility to strategically plan contextually appropriate Business and Operational Plans, which are informed by our datasets, and directly reflect the diverse needs of our students. Strong focusses highlight both the academic progress and the social/emotional wellbeing of students through our key specialty areas.
Our website provides information on our Digital Technologies, Sustainability, Early Childhood, Arts, Languages and Physical Education programs.
We pride ourselves on our strong reputation of being a contemporary and inclusive school community where every child is treated as a highly valued individual.
If you seek further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the school and arrange a meeting.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
